Dinosaur Slides

These slides have been our most popular creations.  There are two baby dinos and one large edmontonia.

These have traveled to local festivals, fairs, and parks and currently sit at the Rushmore Inns & Suites on Hwy 16 in Rapid City.

“Catch the Reading Bug” Theme

This display was done to promote the summer reading program at Rapid City Public Library.

Several of the statues were created by students.

Raptor Statue

This raptor statue was made by a student for his kids.  There were 2 made, both standing 9 feet tall and 15 feet from nose to tail.

The raptors have been part of a parade float in several parades and have won prizes.

Paul E. Parrot for Reptile Gardens

Paul E. Parrot is a sculpture made for Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, SD. He sits near the bird sanctuary at the park.

This sculpture also won Best of  Show for its class at the Central States Fair.

Robin Hood at Nottingham Castle

Robin Hood was built to stand atop the Nottingham Castle at Storybook Island.  He is carved from foam, hardcoated, and painted.

This was the first piece we did for Storybook Island.

Snake for Reptile Gardens

Slither E SnakeSlither E. Snake was done as a photo opportunity prop for Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, SD. He sits next to the snake learning center. Visitors stand within his coils for pictures.

The snake was carved from foam and coated in concrete, then painted to resemble a boa constrictor.

Gatorgoyle Statue

Gatorgoyle StatueThis statue was done as a replication of the gatorgoyle on the Washington Cathedral. It was used as a decoration for the exterior of a custom house, seen here.

It was carved from foam and coated in concrete.

Jack and the Beanstalk for Storybook Island

Jack and the BeanstalkJack and the Beanstalk is the second of 4 pieces done for Storybook Island in Rapid City, SD. It was commissioned by a family as a memorial for a loved one.

This sculpture was carved from foam and coated with concrete, then painted. It is 20 feet tall. It was done in 3 parts then assembled at the site.

Al at Reptile Gardens

Reptile Gardens Alligator

Al E. Gator is an alligator statue created for Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, SD.  He is inside a hidden black light room called ‘Al’s Hidden Jungle Tunnel’

Al was the first of several sculptures created for Reptile Gardens.
