Black Hills creative design – props, sculptures, advertising

This is a residential property in Rapid City.  We did a complete custom finish in the front of the house, including fake brick.  We also did the landscaping, gutters, and the deck.

This was a repair job for the front entrance and columns for the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Rapid City, SD.

We finished the columns, the top of the entrance, and the flower pendulum on the two front columns.

These slides have been our most popular creations.  There are two baby dinos and one large edmontonia.

These have traveled to local festivals, fairs, and parks and currently sit at the Rushmore Inns & Suites on Hwy 16 in Rapid City.

This display was done to promote the summer reading program at Rapid City Public Library.

Several of the statues were created by students.

The original merry go round was white and red and hadn’t been painted in over 20 years. We put a fresh coat of paint on it and it looks like new.

This sits at a church playground in Rapid City, SD.

This raptor statue was made by a student for his kids.  There were 2 made, both standing 9 feet tall and 15 feet from nose to tail.

The raptors have been part of a parade float in several parades and have won prizes.

This is a custom exterior theme for Al’s Hidden Jungle at Reptile Gardens.

If you look through the mouth of the Quasi head statue, you can see into Al’s blacklight room.

This is a 3D sign made for North Point Student Ministries, a youth group in Rapid City, SD.

The sign was carved from foam using the ministry logo.

This piece is a replica statue of Mount Rushmore that sits at Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, SD.

The original piece was made of fiberglass and was falling apart, so we repaired and refinished it.

Paul E. Parrot is a sculpture made for Reptile Gardens in Rapid City, SD. He sits near the bird sanctuary at the park.

This sculpture also won Best of  Show for its class at the Central States Fair.
